It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duma W. Rutherford (Houston, Texas), born in Pickton, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Page Rutherford; her parents, Kenneth Fagan Wells and Clovis Wells; and her siblings, Zuella Herndon (Joelle Murphree), Fern Heefner and Kenneth Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Barry Rutherford (Debbie), Laurie Rutherford, Carol (Clint Patterson), Sheryl Jackson and Brian Rutherford (Nellie); her grandchildren, Eric, Ryan Rutherford, Kayla, Brandon and Tyler Patterson; her great grandchild Ian Rutherford; her nephew Wesley Heefner (Diann); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary and Allison.
