He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Riddle; his sister Barbara Dunn; his children, Michelle Jakelis (Rix), Jason (Alison) and Zachary (Karen); his nieces and nephews, Phillip Dunn (Alisa), Paul Dunn (Brinda), Preston Dunn (Mindy), Doug Spruill, Dan Spruill, David Spruill, Diane Calvin and Courtney Johnson; his grandchildren, Jason Jr., Caleb, Evie, Ryder, Elliot, Ness, Oscar, Zavier, Zoe, Sofie and Lucie; and his great grandchild Roman Paez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingwood Funeral Home (22800 US-59, Kingwood, TX 77339). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
