He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Humble Texas; his children, Kimberly Knighten (Patrick) of Marshall, Tina Knighten Akuta (Joseph) of Loveland, Dietrma Knighten of Topeka and Douglas L. Knighten (Audre) of Topeka, Kansas; his brothers, Derrick (Linda) of Desoto, Ronald (Charlie) of Garland, Eddie (Gloria) of San Antonio and Samuel (Bridgett) of Marshall, Texas.; his grandchild Fourteen; and his friend Master Sergeant Kirby L. Turner of Augusta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
