She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Parker and Willie Mae Parker. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Richardson, Arlevia Lewis, Carnell Specks, Jr. and Louidelle Specks; her sisters, Virginia Ferguson and Barbara Jean Parker; her husband Carnell Specks, Sr.; her sons, Clifford Specks and Willie Specks; and her sisters, Shirley Smith and Faye Armstrong. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church (5214 Cavalcade St, Houston, TX 77026). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Golden Gate Cemetery (8400 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX 77016).
