She was predeceased by: her parents, Jetty V. Clare and Lillie Mae Clare; and her cousins, Bob Armstrong of Lake Jackson, TX and Clare Wood. She is survived by: her significant other Frederick Owen Benn Jr.; her children, Dr. Holly Clare Williams (Harvey Michael Giblin) of Austin, TX and Temple Weatherly Williams III (Valerie Hoffman) of Chriesman, TX; her granddaughters, Weatherly Clare Giblin of New York City and Sullivan Clare Williams of Los Angeles, CA.; her cousins, Beverly Cox and Suzanne Wood Brown (Kerry Grombacher); and also Cyndi Finkle of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by family members and all her dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (3471 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77027).
