He is survived by: his sons, Julius Staten of Houston, TX. and Jeremy Staten (Shannon) of Houston, TX.; his granddaughter Remy Staten; his brothers, Hubert Staten (Sandra) of Marshall, TX, Ruben Staten, Bobby Staten (Brittany) of Elysian Fields, TX and Marvin Staten (Pamela) of Houston, TX; his former wife Jerry Mae Allen; his stepdaughters, Tera and Shenean; and his aunt Valrie Anderson (Sherry) of Marshall, TX. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
