Dayshawn was a beloved son, brother, partner, and friend who had a generous spirit and a heart full of love for those closest to him. Known for his kindness and his unwavering loyalty to his friends and family, he had a remarkable ability to connect with others, offering a supportive presence to those in need. Dayshawn enjoyed spending time outdoors, loved music, and found peace in sharing moments with friends and loved ones.
Though his journey ended tragically, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Dayshawn will be remembered for his warm smile, his resilience, and his commitment to helping others, even in the face of his own challenges.
He is survived by his life partner Jennifer Brooks, mother Yolanda Scarlett, and Grandmother Gloria Bullock. Further survived by his sisters, many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who all cherished him deeply, and many friends who loved him like a brother. His passing is a profound loss for all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be missed beyond measure.
A celebration of life will be held by the family on Thursday March 28, 2024 at Walker Funeral Home in Barrett Station, TX, to honor his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dayshawn’s memory to organizations dedicated to mental health awareness and support.
