He is survived by: his siblings, Wm Cloy Jr., Lamar, Wanda, Billy, Bobby, Nell and Jerry; his wife Mary Shelby; his children, Robert Shelby (Artell), Lisa Babb and Shelly Meyer (Duane); his stepsons, PJ and Michael Nichols; and his close friend Rodney Odneal. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and Mary's three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Timothy Lutheran Church (14225 Hargrave Rd, Houston, TX 77070).
