He was predeceased by: his parents, Ricardo Banda and Maria Banda; his son Christopher Banda; and his sisters, Rosa Fierros and Beatriz Murillo.
He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Banda and Joe Flores; his sister Mercedes Chapa (Juan Banda); his grandchildren, Victor Avina III, Christopher Banda, Jr., Jose Mario Banda, Alyssa Hope Banda, Eliana Jazelle Banda and Stella Mae Flores; and his great grandchild Anaiah Hope Banda.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Central (2901 Canal St, Houston, TX 77003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Santa Teresa Cemetery (912 Buschong St, Houston, TX 77039).
