He is survived by: his wife Ute Franklin; his children, Clinton LaFayette Franklin IV and Anja Franklin; and his siblings, Maritucker (Tom Hanemann), John Franklin and Nila (George Schwab).
In Lieu of Flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Clinton's name to the American Heart Association.
