He was predeceased by: his daughter Charmaine DeLeon; his parents, James DeLeon and Stella Rendon; and his brothers, Jim "Nappy" DeLeon Jr., John Jerome "Jerry" DeLeon and Daniel Michael DeLeon.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Grace DeLeon; his children, Candace Angelo (Matthew Angelo), John Robert DeLeon and Melissa DeLeon (Jeffrey Burkholder); his grandchildren, Alexandria Feuer Luu (Quan Luu), Leah Jade Byers, Zachary Angelo, Victoria Angelo, Isaiah DeLeon, Donovan Burkholder and Bruce Burkholder; his great grandchildren, Gemma Luu and Caden Luu; and his siblings, Patricia and Gilbert DeLeon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cypress Creek Funeral Home and Crematory (2000 Cypress Landing Rd, Houston, TX 77090). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
