We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 80, Carolee Ann Schenk (Houston, Texas), born in Brownsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Bauer and Beatrice Bauer. She is survived by: her husband Norman; her son Erich (Alicia); and her grandchildren, Adeline, Lilly, Bradley Stephens (Amani), Shelby Stephens, Colby Stephens and Cody Stephens. She is also survived by loving extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (9900 Stella Link Rd, Houston, TX 77025). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Carolee's family respectfully requests that donations in her name be made to a charity that was near and dear to her heart – The Houston SPCA (houstonspca.org).
