She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Fils; her son Byron Christopher Fils; and her parents, Cora Stephenson and Kelton Stephenson. She is survived by: her son Gregory Elliott; and also, Lillie Fils and Calvin Fils.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church (7034 Tierwester St, Houston, TX 77021). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
