She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Silvestre and Maria Silvestre; her husband Leonso Mata; her granddaughter Jennifer Marie Flores; and her son-in-law Sam Rush.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ofelia Ortiz and Ramon Silvestre Jr.; and her children, Mary Helen Aguilar (Benedicto), Estella Garcia, Richard Mata, Alfonso Mata, Maria Eugenia Mata, Mary Rosery Rush, Veronica Mata and Monica Alvarado (Alfred). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with lots of other family and friends.
