We bid farewell to Arthur Dimmitt Henderson of Houston, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 81. Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbreth Henderson and Ada Henderson; his wife Alice Harris Henderson; his parents-in-law, Mary Alice and Sulcer Allen Harris, Sr.; his brothers-in-law, Sulcer Allen Harris, Jr. and John Jude Harris; and his nephew Greg Henderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Henderson Leavell (David) of Austin and Katrina Henderson Lueckenhoff (Matthew) of Houston, Texas.; his grandchildren, David Arthur, Mary Alice Leavell, George Harris and Alice Louise Lueckenhoff; his brother Robert Henderson (Martha) of Lexington, Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Harris, Laura Harris, Larry Harris (Kelley) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Mary Rita Harris Cruz (Oscar) of St. Louis, Missouri.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's United Methodist Church (20775 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77450).
