He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Bang; his parents, Arnold Bang and Hazel Bang; his in-laws, Dick and Geraldine Adams; and his son-in-law Mark Samaniego.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Samaniego, Cliff Bang (Kathy) and Richard Bang; his brother Bill Bang (Vera); his sisters-in-law, Jerilynn Williams and Jacque Dearen; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Joseph, Brayden, Rene, Thomas, Troy and Isabella. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 1 nephew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
