A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).

“Rachel and Kim, I was so sorry to hear of Alfred's passing. He has beat us home in the foot race and as a child of God, your dad is resting. May the Holy Spirit provide all the comfort to you in the many days ahead. I had planned to attend the service, but traveling conditions from Tulsa, OK would not permit. My continued prayers are with you and the rest of Alfred's siblings. Sincerely, Dorothy J. Young (your Uncle Willie's wife)”
