He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Atabong Tangu and Francisca Tangu; and his wife Margaret Vunkeng Tangu. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Jude Agendia (Melissa), Jane-Frances Ndemanu, Keumboh Tangu, Aime Tangu and Marie-Louise Tangu; his grandchildren, Micah, Abram Agendia, Ethan Tangu Christian, Lionel, Meira, Roger Mepewou, Kah Kenfack and Kehmia Kiamboh Fortingo; and his nieces, Delphine Merewou (Roger) and Sydole Mbakoup-Fortinge (Robert).
