She is survived by: her husband Evan Roberts of Horseshoe Bay; and her children, Patricia Finnegan McGowan (James O. Cure), Linda Finnegan Oriti (Don Oriti), Cathy Gonsoulin, James Michael Finnegan and Joan Zapata (Jesse Zapata, Jr.). She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Virginia lived with Alzheimer's disease for about 4 years before her death, and memorials in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Ave, Fl 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
