We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 68, Laurie Anne Sherrod (Horseshoe Bay, Texas), born in Jamestown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Anne Huffman. She is survived by: her husband Ray Sherrod of Horseshoe Bay; her father Joseph Huffman; her siblings, David Huffman and Beth Huffman; her children, Mary Higby and Scott Higby; her stepson Jack Sherrod (Summer); her grandchildren, Lennon, Levi, Willow, Braylee, Harrison and Dean; her stepgrandchildren, Addison Sherrod and Aiden Sherrod (Vivian); and her great grandchild Parker Inman.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Caprock Pavilion (2655 Bay W Blvd, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Samaritan's Purse, supporting disaster relief efforts in the name of Jesus.
