It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Jones (Horseshoe Bay, Texas), who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James C. Jones to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Minette Waldroup of Austin; his parents, Wallace Jones and Frances Jones (Pilcher); and his brothers, Wallace Jones, Jr., Max Curtis Jones and Charles Ray Jones.

He is survived by: his son Micheal J Jones of Austin; his son-in-law Chip Waldroup (MaryFrances) of Austin; his parents-in-law, Tracey Waldroup and Samantha Waldroup; and his sisters, Jane Riggs and Julia Davidson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family has suggested that memorials may be made to the Darrell K Royal Fund for Alzheimer's Research, PO Box 5839, Austin, TX 78763, or the Sharon Dykes Alzheimer's Foundation, c/o First Capital Bank, 6811 Indiana Ave., Lubbock, TX 79413.
