James C. Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Jones (Horseshoe Bay, Texas), who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James C. Jones to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his daughter Minette Waldroup of Austin; his parents, Wallace Jones and Frances Jones (Pilcher); and his brothers, Wallace Jones, Jr., Max Curtis Jones and Charles Ray Jones.

He is survived by : his son Micheal J Jones of Austin; his son-in-law Chip Waldroup (MaryFrances) of Austin; his parents-in-law, Tracey Waldroup and Samantha Waldroup; and his sisters, Jane Riggs and Julia Davidson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jeff mitchell wrote a sympathy message

“T. was one of the most thoughtful men I have ever known. In the time I spent in the Texas Tech Athletic department with him, he was constantly a source of assistance, knowledge, and advice. He was a thoughtful, caring and giving person. I will always treasure the memories I have of, and with T. I offer my sincere condolences. Knowing T. I know he would want this time to be a celebration of his life in the knowledge that every time we think of him, he remains with us. Jeff Mitchell”
