He was predeceased by: his parents, E. D. Carr and Winnie Carr; his sister Hazel Elliott (Gene); and his grandson Joshua Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Alice Carr; his children, JoAnna Armstrong (David), Connie Harpold (Mark), Davy Carr (Monica) and Debbie Ritchie; and his grandchildren, Jessica Hoover (Brad), Jonathan Armstrong (Carly), Carley Harpold, Brayden Ritchie, Mason Harpold, Lexi Carr, Maggie Ritchie, Lenzi Carr and Carr Ritchie.
In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Hooks First Baptist Church.
