It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Glenn Simpson of Hooks, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Simpson and Leta Davis Simpson; his wife Helen Simpson; and his brother Scott Simpson. He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Deana Simpson of De Kalb, Texas; his daughters, Leta (Demetric Johnson), Gloria (Dustin Jacops) and DeLana Usrey (Paul Brown); his sister Beth; his brother-in-law Doug Laukhuf of Mansfield, Texas; and his grandchildren, Alexis Simpson, Michael Simpson, Christie Johnson, Abigale Jacops, Gracie Jacops, Dustin Jacops, Jr. and Brooke Ables. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
