She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Chavez and Esperanza Rocha Chavez; and her son Juan Jorge Bowles. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Rowe of Hooks and Roxana Bowles of Dallas; and her sister Esperanza Chavez of South America. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of other friends and relatives.
