She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Dorothy Lanier; her daughters, LaJan Head and Lynn Barton Merrill; her son-in-law Billy Merrill; her sons, Randall Barton, Kent Barton and Richard Barton; her grandchildren, Jaeley Barton, Catina Foss, Brandy Parker, Bret Barton, Jacob Barton, Jared Barton, Channing Brewer, Andy Merrill, Lakin Stone and Chloe Usery; and her siblings, J. C. Lanier (James), Scottie Lanier, Shot Lanier and Genevia Modisette.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Clark Cemetery.
