It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Saxild of Hooks, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ernst and Theresa Ernst; her son James (Chris); and her son-in-law Mack Smith. She is survived by: her husband Oliver Saxild; her grandchildren, Victoria Kiwazek (Albert), Stacey Robertson (Quincy), Gary C. Smith, Jason Renaud (Kate), Erik Renaud, Katie Saxild and Michael Saxild; her great grandchildren, Faye and Eloise Renaud; and her niece Carol Troka (Tom).
It is requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her honor to Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, TX 75503.
