He was predeceased by: his wife Corene Latimer; his parents, Herman Henry Latimer and Thelma Smith Latimer Gallaher; his siblings, Bonnie Gray, Shelba Gamble and Herman Henry Latimer Jr.; and his son-in-law Ken Kirkham.
He is survived by: his children, James Thomas Latimer (Carolyn) and Teresa Kirkham; his grandchildren, James Carrol Latimer (Dana), Jason Latimer (Regina), Brandee Houston (Brandon), Dana Moore (James) and Nicklaus Kirkham; his great grandchildren, Brandon Budnaitis, Colby Latimer, Rachel Latimer, Katelyn Latimer, James Moore III, Henry Houston, Archie Latimer, Caroline Houston, William Moore and George Houston; his great great grandchild James Tucker Latimer; and his sisters, Shirley Moore (Bobby) and Diann Prezio.
