He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin R. Bateman and Hattie Langford Bateman; his wife Effie Bridges Bateman; and his brother Bob Bateman. He is survived by: his children, Jim Bateman of Texarkana, TX, Michael Bateman of Foreman, AR, Carla (Bennie Price), Kathy (Joe Castillo) and Laura Bateman of Hooks; and his grandchildren, Rusty (Heather Castillo), Ryan Castillo and Kimberly (Cody Burns). He is also survived by five greatgrandchildren and two nephews.
The family requests that everyone wear a face mask and practice social distancing for safety.
