With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernie King of Hooks, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan King and Pauline King (Goodman); his siblings, Martha Heflin, Bobbie Ramsey, Buddy King and Chunky King; and his son Kevin Guy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley King; his children, Denise (David Watson), Bryan (Meaw King), Kimberly King of Texarkana and Steven (Nikon King); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Conner Williford, Ali, Daniel Howard, Shelby Watson, Kelsey, Wow Kelley, Danielle Schoening, Samantha, Adam Meehling, Presley King, Joseph King, Evelyn and Arya King; his sons, Bobby Martin and Josh Guy; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Charlotte, Everett Williford, Bennett, Mason Howard, Leela, Moses Kelley, Payton Shahadey, Malikai Barker, Lucah Barker-Schoening, Parker, Taitum Meehling and Knox Keith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
