She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Carson and Inez Easter; her siblings, Willie Easter, Charles Carson, Lucille Carson, Willie Mae Allen and Josie Mae Kenner; her granddaughter Shauntrae; and her son Brandon Hurd.
She is survived by: her spouse Lonnie Hurd, Sr.; and her children, Lonnie Jr. and Terence. She is also survived by loving husband, two dutiful sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church (223 Co Rd 2113, Hooks, TX 75561). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
