With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alva Anderson of Hooks, Texas, born in Nashville, Arkansas, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Reed and Donie Reed; her husband Odes Anderson; her siblings, Bessie Jo Anderson, Reuben Jewel Kelm, Perry Reed, Hazel Sharp, Dessie Sharp and Gracie Westfall; her son-in-law Kerry Moore; and her granddaughter Stephanie Nettles Pearson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Moore of Hooks, Charles Anderson (Cynthia) of Nacogdoches, Ora Jean Davis (John) of Hendrix and Wanda Pearson (Ed) of Hot Springs; her granddaughters, Robin Colley (Shane), Melanie Birthright (Michael) and Kerianna Angle (James); and her great grandchildren, Victoria Colley, Lilyan Birthright, Chandler, CJ Nettles, Paul Hanks, James Angle, Layla Hanks and Samuel Kerry Angle.
