He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Guy" Wilson and Ruby Lee Wilson (Bales); his wife Jeanetta Raye Wilson (Cole); his siblings, Jeffrey Brook "J. B." Wilson, Iris Dean Carter and Peggy Stanley; his grandson Nathaniel "Heath" Lucas; and his nieces, Sharon Gaither Briscoe, Laura Stanley Killough and Jamie Hewitt Echols.
He is survived by: his daughters, Martha Lucas (Wesley) of Sulphur Springs and Teresa Massie (Brian) of Dodd City; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Dakota Sorrells, Shannon, Blake McGrew, Cole Massie, Jeremy, Amanda Lucas, Michelle and Kevin Heagwood; his great grandchildren, Obi Sorrells, Ian Sorrells, Eli Sorrells, Kianna Hayes, Payton Hayes, Angel Esquidel, Kamron Heagwood, Kailei Heagwood and Kyrah Heagwood; and his siblings, Shirley Hewitt and Carol Gaither. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.
