She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Eugene Vessels and Mary Fadalia Wilkinson Vessels; her husband Billy Jack Simmons; and her siblings, Lorena Elizabeth Vessels, Opal Miller, Katherine Bell, Dorothy Hand, James, Loyd, Edwin and Calvin Vessels.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Dianne, Sheila Kay and Michael Jack; her granddaughter Leyla Dianne (Josh Shipman); and her siblings, Leeman Vessels, Ima Gene Parham and Betty Anderson (Milam). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
