She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton LaRue and Vernice Marshall LaRue; her husband Dwight Scott; and her siblings, Doris, Errol, Norma, James and Peggy LaRue.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Scott of Honey Grove, Leanne Jackson (Andy) of Paris and Dana Griffith (Marty) of Honey Grove; her grandchildren, Magen Smith, Ashley Odom, Brandon Griffith, Chase Scott and Tony Griffith; her great grandchildren, Ayden Price, Avery Price, Mathew Griffith, Asher Price, Blaire Odom, Gaitz Odom, Avonlea Price and Maelie Griffith; and her close friend Larry Hooker.
