He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Friesen and Helena Loewen Friesen; his former wife Vada Boehs; and his daughter Nadine. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Penner; and his children, Monroe, Debbie Friesen of Sumner, TX., Greg, Maria Friesen, Adair, Karen Friesen, Ronalda Friesen, Pryor, Justin and Sara Friesen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
