She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Burden and Bonnie Hopper; her husband Billy Joe Shaw; her sons, Billy Allen and James Obert; and her grandson Jimmy Lynn Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Annette Simpson of Honey Grove, Sharon Shaw of Honey Grove and Grace Shaw of Honey Grove; her siblings, Mary Lee Jernigan of Goldthwaite, Martha Hancock (Blanton) of Leonard and Bobby Burden of Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Terri Williams (Louie) of Honey Grove, James Michael Shaw (Mindy) of Honey Grove, Tracy Clark of Honey Grove, Billy Don Shaw of Honey Grove, Patricia Massey (Eddie) of Honey Grove, Gary Wayne Shaw of Honey Grove, Bonnie Phillips (Dustin) of Honey Grove and Dustin Glen Simpson of Honey Grove. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
