He was predeceased by: his parents, Uriah Jones and Ollie Harrell Jones; his former wife Emma Milton; his daughters, Melissa Karol and Amanda Kay; and his siblings, Floyd, Joel Jones, Bessie Jones Stiles, Wilma Jones Witherspoon and Mildred Jones Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Melanie Pierce (Derrick) of Garland and Jeremy David Jones (Stephanie) of Mena, Arkansas; his sisters, Edna Munger (Laddie) of Cary and Bonnie Sanders of Springfield, Missouri; his father-in-law Harvey Lynn Milton; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Milton, Robert Wayne Milton, Gaynor Stiles, Virginia Woodruff of Sherman and Earlene Jones of Halfway, Missouri; his grandchildren, Miranda, Marc, Ty, Sydney and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Dallis, Denver and Khalessi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and by a host of friends.
