He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Prowse Holmes; his wife Jill Hester Edwards; his son Justin McKenzie (Shannon); his granddaughters, Aaly Campbell (Balon), Bailey Bigbey and Haley Lawthon; and his siblings, Jackie Holmes (Cathy), Paula Loftin (Mark), Rhonda Barnes (Jimmy) and Dendy Carter. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins.
