He was predeceased by: his father Joseph William Rothe; and his in-laws, Marcellus and Renie Garrison. He is survived by: his mother Rosie Rothe; his wife Marcy Garrison Rothe; his daughters, Emily Rothe Stewart (Brian) and Annie Rothe DeKoch (John); and his grandchildren, Claire, Olivia Stewart, Mac and Thomas DeKoch. He is also survived by his siblings and many, many family and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Hondo Methodist Church Building Fund or Medina Regional Hospital.
