She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garza and Maria; her husband Joseph Rivera; and her siblings, Juan, Antonio, Nicolas Garza, Petra Guajardo and Andrea Del Toro.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores Rivera, Michael Rivera (Yvonne), Angelica M. Sandoval (David), Christopher Rivera (Theresa) and Amanda K. Barker (Matt); her grandchildren, Joseph Sanchez (Hilary), Michael, Micaela, Mariano Rivera, Kelsey Cruz (Jonathan), Jordan Gomez (Jody), Katelynn, Sierra, Jennifer Sandoval, Ashley Rodriguez (David), Devin, Nayeli and Araceli Rivera; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Luna, Noah, David III, Valentina, Liam and Ellie; and her brother David Garza (Leticia).
