We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 87, Shirley Jean Smith Braden of Hondo, Texas, born in Comfort, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Vivian Paine Smith; and her husband Curtis Braden. She is survived by: her children, Barry Braden (Ginny) of Hondo, Clay Braden (Mary Linda) of D'Hanis and Angela Wolff (Stefan) of Hondo; her grandchildren, Chris Braden, John Braden, Mallory Posey, Hanna McGehee, Collin Braden, Shane Wolff and Alec Wolff; and her siblings, Betty Gilliam (Ralph) of Hondo and Butch Smith (Gwen) of Giddings. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
