He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose O. "Chino" Rosales and Maria R. Hernandez Rosales; and his sister Rosa Isela Rosales. He is survived by: his wife Maria I. Cardenas Rosales; his sons, Sergio Rosales, Jr. and Samuel Rey Rosales; and his sister Leticia Gutierrez (JeanLouie Eboueme). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
