She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Persyn and Marie Persyn; her former spouse Belgian; and her husband Rene. She is survived by: her children, Annette McMinn (Tom), Frank Aelvoet (Pam), Andrew Aelvoet (Theresa), Mariette Wroe (William), Jeanette Tilley (Tobin), Paul Aelvoet (Denise), Thomas Aelvoet (Jennifer), Patrick Aelvoet (Patsy) and David Aelvoet (Kathie); and her sister-in-law Genevieve Aelvoet. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St John's Historical Society, Hondo, Texas.
