It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Maria Galvan (Hondo, Texas), who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roque Galvan, Jr.; her parents, Jose Ibarra-Sanchez and Isabel Flores Maldonado of Ibarra; and her siblings, Alberto, Jose, Bernardino, Juan, Guadalupe, Armando and Jovita.

She is survived by: her sister María Olga Ibarra of Rendón; her sister-in-law Elsa María Martinez of Ibarra; her children, Hector J. Galvan (Melinda), Yolanda Ortiz (Howard), Baldemar Galvan (Liza), Delma Arcos (Jesse III) and Reynaldo Galvan (Kathrine); and her grandchildren, Amber Rose Osier (Patrick), Matthew Galvan (William McJunkin), Christine Dianne Wheeler (Tim), Tiffany M. Galvan (Em Garcia), Kayla C. Rodriguez (Isaac), Nina M. Galvan, Roman Galvan, Katherine D. Arcos, Jesse Arcos IV (Roxanne), Michelle Perez (Richard) and Kylie N. Rosales (Leslie). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
