With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Lydia Tapia of Hondo, Texas, born in D'Hanis, Texas, who passed away on November 7, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Pimentel and Porfiria Pimentel; and her siblings, Jose Pimentel, Ignacio Pimentel, Pedro Pimentel and Lucia Pimentel.

She is survived by: her children, Alfredo Tapia, III, Anna Barrios (Efrain), Laurie Morin (Rolando), Jessica Tapia (Fred Pargas), Melissa Sanford (Maston) and Julie Alfaro (Michael); and her siblings, Carmen Gonzales (Enrique) and Guadalupe Pimentel (Vangie). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
