We bid farewell to Robert M. Reed of Hondo, Texas, born in Wheeler, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Robert M. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert M. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert M. farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. Arthur Chester Reed (Ann). He is survived by: his wife Grace Ringle; and his children, James Reed (Susan), Thomas Reed (Jay), Mark Reed (Pam) and Laura Berggren (Andy). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1303 Ave M, Hondo, TX 78861). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Gideons International; St. Paul Lutheran Church; or a charity of your choice.
