He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos H. Flores and Rafaela Garcia Flores; his siblings, Josephine Randolph, Cecilia Flores, Carlos Flores and Ernest Flores; his daughter Melinda Rita Flores; his great grandchild D'Artagnan Lamontagne; and his son-in-law David Tompkins.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria G. Flores; his children, Alexandra Tompkins of San Antonio, Glorianna Cardenas (Stephen) of Helotes, Roberta Ruiz, Sr. (Joe) of Hondo and Robert Flores, Jr. (Gloria) of San Antonio; and his brother Abelado "Abe" Flores of Lake Whitney. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
