He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Garcia, and Daniel Garcia, Sr.; and his siblings, Daniel Garcia, Jr., Recardo Garcia, David Garcia and Lupita Garcia.

He is survived by: his siblings, Maria Hernandez (late Gabriel), Lisa Barrios (late Isabel) and Michael Cuellar (Suzanne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
