He is survived by: his wife Dolores Vargas; his sons, Robert Jesse Lara (Linda), Petro Luciano Lara and Reynaldo Lara; his stepsons, Rene Vargas and Max Vargas, Jr.; his daughter Teresa Rodriguez (Carlos); his stepdaughters, Yvonne Vizcara (Manuel), Veronica Santoya (Juan), Dora Vargas (Alex) and Laura Soto (William); and his siblings, Trinidad L. Hernandez and Juan Gonzales.
