He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Browning and Carrie Harris Browning; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Vera Browning. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCrary Browning; his children, Charmaine Mello (Frank) of Bremerton, WA, Max Browning II (Beatriz) of Hondo and Michael J. Browning (Paula) of Hondo; and his siblings, Shelba Morgan of California, Shirley Martinez (Richard) of Washington and Joe Browning (Sylvia) of Washington. He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
